Hi, crafty friends, it’s Chark here today to show you how I used the forest background stamp to create a CAS card, which is just what our May challenge is all about. Clean and Simple. I inked it up with Versamark embossing ink, sprinkled on blue embossing powder and then heat set. Next, I sprinkled a bit of gold embossing powder before heat-setting. And finally, I used a cherry red powder and then heat set that.

I trimmed the panel down and attached it to a cream cardstock panel and then adhered it to gold cardstock. I added the Hero Arts lace at the bottom to add a little interest without taking away from the clean and simple look. I figure the inside can be a hello, sympathy or even happy birthday sentiment.
