Monica here today to share with you my last card for the color it in challenge. I went with a fall theme, because it is right around the corner and I for one can’t wait! It is my favorite season, with its cool crisp are and the colors of the trees!!! I kept with the challenge theme using a background stamp and dies.
I used the background stamp to create the lines before die cutting the leaf shapes and coloring them in. I was trying for a stained glass look, but was told by my 9 year old it didn’t look right. 😉 I blended some inks on the back ground to cover the stark white cardstock. I also stamped the sentiment banner using an older Hero Arts set, colored and fussy cut it.
Before adding my stamped and colored images to the card I wrapped the panel with some brown burlap ribbon. I then adhered my leaves and banner with glue dots and foam squares for added dimension.
There is still a few days for you join our challenge.

I think you hit the “stained glass” nail on the head! Really neat effect–I may have to try something similar. Love the added texture of the ribbon you used. Tfs! 🙂 ~ Andrea
