Hi Everyone, it’s Monica from Taylormadecards4u. I am here to share with you a card I made using this month’s challenge theme “Bright & Beautiful.”

You Brighten My day

I decided to create a mixed media card, as those typically are my favorite types to make. I started out with a piece of white card stock and created a background using does distress oxides. Once I was happy with the design, I cut down using the crazy stitch die. I added some background interest with a small words set.

I then added some embossing paste using a Tim Holtz stencil and outlined it with a distress crayon. To add more interest, I stamped the background using a stamp from Finnabair to add some small words on the barckground.

Next I added some washi tape and a stamped sentiment that reads “hello…you brighten my day” and finished it off with some black Nuvo drops.

Hey friends, I am back sharing another card using the Hero Arts set Woof! This is such a fun set and has the cutest little dogs.

Woof Now this set does not say these are Dachshunds, but they sure look like Dachshunds to me. Perhaps because I have two little dottsies of my own and that is all I see! I colored the little pup in using Copic Colors E35 & E37. The heart was colored with R27.

The set has some great sentiments, but I thought this “miss you” sentiment said it all for this little critter.
