Hi there, it’s Angie here today sharing a some inspiration for our August “Bright and Beautiful” Challenge at a2z scrapbooking blog!

I used some new supplies for this card: Hero Arts Wonderful Stamp and Cut, and Hero Arts Holiday Ornaments Stamp and Cut. I love Hero Arts Stamp and Cut sets because they have a good price and are very versatile. I stamped the ornaments in 3 bright colors of Gina K Designs ink, then added silver glitter pen to the ornament hooks at the top and for the strings, then I added Nuvo glitter drops to each ornament. I die cut the wonderful word from white card stock (I first put Stick It Adhesive on the back), and then I put it on a black border so it would pop off the white card panel more. Then, of course, I got a tiny spot of ink where I didn’t want it – so I pulled out my Tombow Mono Sand Eraser to the rescue! I love that eraser and I use it a LOT!!! The sentiment is from the “Wonderful” set, the 2 borders were cut with a die from Poppy Stamps and the corners at the top were rounded with a corner rounder. Card stock used was from Gina K Designs.

So I’m walking through Kroger the other day, getting some groceries, when out of the corner of my eye
I see the most gorgeous display of thisNow, I didn’t need coffee, wasn’t out. Normally wouldn’t spend this much.
But I bought it. Because it was pretty. Props to Starbucks packaging department.
On a side not it was darn good coffee, but I digress.

So as I’m staring at my overpriced coffee box waiting for the first cup to brew I thought.
Well, that would make a pretty card! Then this happened.

The first task was finding a medium that would stamp well and onto dark cardstock.
After trying several things I landed on Mementoluxe Pigment ink.

Then I needed a good stamp set to try to recreate the pattern on the box and my
Hero Arts Flower Garden set. You could easily recreate this for any season and with other great stamp
sets such as the Let Love Grow layering set, Happy Day Flowers set, or for Christmas the Build a Wreath

To make my window I started with an oval spellbinders die just to trace the shape in pencil.
Using that as a guide I stamped my assorted flower images, and then used a craft knife to cut out the window.

My shaker pocket was assembled with the Fuse Tool and prior to filling, I used some red Stayzon ink
to stamp “Fall” under where my Happy die cut would go. I adhere my pocket with some Tombo Xtreme and mounted
it onto a shade lighter cardstock base and glued on my Happy sentiment.
