With Much Sadness…

As many of you know, a2z scrapbooking was founded to raise awareness & funds for celiac and behcets diseases. One of our founders and volunteers, Linda Crissman, suffered from behcets herself for many years. It is with deep sadness that I’m here today to let you know of her passing.

Linda courageously battled the side effects of this horrible disease for many years, continuing her work here at a2z despite her condition, because she was passionate about both the cause and paper crafting in general. She loved Hero Arts products, her favorite part of her work her was doing the product ordering and browsing the new catalogs. She loved scrapbooking, and making scrapbook gifts for her friends and family. She loved her friends and family.

She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends & is being laid to rest today in her hometown. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to American Behcet’s Disease Association – ABDA, PO Box 80576, Rochester, MI 48308 or http://www.behcets.com, you can read Linda’s full obituary here.

I know this news leaves you with many questions about the blog and store. We will ultimately be closing our doors. The store is Linda’s legacy and going on with-out her is too painful. Items in the store will begin being discounted in the coming weeks. We will be having our final challenge in October.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support, patronage and friendship over the years.

Hi Friends! I'm a 30 something glitter obsessed paper crafter. I live in a smallish Michigan town called Commerce, where I've been my whole life. I do marketing & real estate by trade, but gave up my full time job in 2016 to take care of my dad following a major stroke. You can find all my crafts at www.livelovelaughscrap.com, and I own at etsy shop at thebarefootbarnowl.etsy.com. I current design for a2z scrapbooking, where I also manage their blog and etsy store, as well as Dies R Us, Die Cutting Divas' and A Blog Named Hero.
