Hi everyone,
I am sharing a Thank You card featuring Hero Arts Color Layering Pomegranate today. I did the usual stamp and watercolor, but for the Pomegranates I die cut with the matching frame and watercolor only. I was happy with the result but they needed some ‘zing’, to enhance the look I used a very unusual element – beet juice! Yup you read it right.
I share a comparison of the card before beet juice on my blog, you can check it there, Escape To Stamping.

Such a nice card! I love those pomegranate’s! Very clever to color your pomegranate’s with beet juice.

I never would’ve guessed beet juice! It does add some depth and color and makes those look juicy!

That is so beautiful Cindy and so original to use beet juice! I sometimes use beet for food colouring so why not on paintings too, right? I love the layout of your leaves too.
