Hero Arts, You Make me so happy! This is my statement today and it’s on my card too. You can’t image how happy I was with all your comments about my last card using one of the Hero Arts stencils with creative medium, but for me, and I think for you too, the most important thing is that all of us really enjoy and love the Hero Arts products and the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies! Based on this I got my inspiration to create today’s card. Take a look at my card:
This is a very clear and simple card. I used the Very Vanilla card stock for the base and the Glorious Petal Stencil from Hero Arts. I applied the ink with a brush to have soft look and obtain a delicate touch over the free areas of the stencil. I used two different tones of Distress Ink, the Blueprint Sketch for the center and the Seedless Preserves for the borders. On the middle part I mixed the colors.
Then I used Hero Arts Intense Black Ink to stamp the word happy from the Happy Stamp & Cut Set from Hero Arts directly over the same layer and also stamped the sentiment ‘you make me so’ in a separate piece of card stock with the same ink to finalize the card. I added some blue sequins from the Hero Arts Ombre Blue collection.
The process was very simple and card is very clear. You can explore this technique using different colors or creating this in series or simply changing the sentiments. a2z Scrapbooking Store has many options of stencils and stamps that you can combine and use to create your own version.

The light and dark colors are perfect for adding the depth I see in the card. Great way to make the stenciled portion the star.

So pretty. Love the softness. I just bought some Clarity brushes and that is my new preferred method of blending inks even without a stencil.
