Hero Arts Vintage Christmas Two Ways

Hi, friends, Chark here today with the Hero Arts Vintage Christmas Wishes stamps and dies. I used traditional colors on this first card. I added some Diamond Stickles to my snowman to make him sparkle, just like real snow sparkles in the sun…and you can see that in the close-up.

For the second version of the snowman in the woods, I used fun colors and sparkly gems for the snowflakes. I made this with an acetate card and affixed the snowman and snowflakes to the outside of the acetate, with the rest of the scene mounted on a pink card inside the acetate card. In the close-up, you can see the layers.

I thought of these fun colors because of a book I had when I was a kid, it was called The Littlest Snowman and he eats ice cream and then lets the wind take him up so he can “rain down” colorful snow on the village. It was the 70s, we didn’t have too many normal kid books 🙂

Hope you enjoyed the cards today…the stamp set is on sale in the store right now for just $13.95! And if you add some more goodies to make your cart worth $50, you can get FREE SHIPPING on domestic orders plus a free surprise!

Hope you’ll join in our November Challenge and Embellish It with Hero Arts to try to win $25 to the a2z Scrapbooking store!
