Monochromatic with Hero Arts Balloon Animal Birthday

Happy Aloha Friday friends!  Niki G. here trying out Jennifer McGuire’s fun technique using Hero Arts Balloon Animal Birthday .  When it comes to new techniques I always start with a small piece of scrap paper just to see if I can get the effect.

I started with those square pieces coated in Hero Arts Shadow ink Tide Pool, then stamped the confetti and dots in Versamark and heat set.  Then I used Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink for the sentiment and thought it came out kinda cool!

Then I went with the larger rectangle pieces and coated in Hero Arts Shadow ink in Pool and Stone Wash and repeated the process with the different balloon images and using the outline of the images inked in Unicorn pigment.

I was gonna make each panel on a different card and keep things simple, but then thought why not just throw them all on one card!  I thought the colors were perfect for a masculine card so I decided not to add any sparkle or bling.

I hope you’ll join us for our ANYTHING GOES challenge this month!  You’ll have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store!  Have a great day and an awesome weekend!!
